PUBLIC NOTICE

 Plan Modification

            The Northwest Region Workforce Investment Board, comprised of the 18 contiguous counties of Northwest Missouri, will have available for public review and comment a modification to its 5-Year Plan, This Plan, which addresses services and funding levels under the Workforce Investment Act (P.L. 105-220), will be available for review after June 2, 2008.

            This modification provides PY08 WIA funding in the amount of $953,378, FY09 WIA funding in the amount of $1,073,747, Career Assistance Program/TANF PY 08 funding in the amount of $568,939, changes to the Plan narrative to address Mo-Kan Regional Council as a new subcontractor, and annual changes to the Business Plan (formerly known as the Memorandum of Understanding – MOU).  

To review the modification you must contact the Workforce Investment Board, North Central Missouri College, 912 Main Street, Trenton, Missouri 64683 by phone: 660-359-3622, X-13 or e-mail jwhitney@mail.ncmissouri.edu .  Any comments concerning the plan modification or to petition for disapproval or change of the modification, please contact either the WIB or the Division of Workforce Development’s Planning and Research Section at PO Box 1087, Jefferson City, MO 65102-1087.  Petitions for disapproval or change must be received no later than July 2, 2008.
